Our COVID-19 response:
In light of the spread of the COVID-19, we are adjusting our Standards of Operations to increase the safety of our team, customers, and community. We are now taking the following actions:
We are open everyday for pick up. No indoor or outdoor dining is available at this time.
We have implemented a very strict cleaning routine which includes a sanitising schedule (every 30 minutes) for all shared surfaces. We use a Sodium Hypochlorite Liquid Sanitizer, which is a a broad-spectrum disinfectant that is effective for the disinfection of viruses, bacteria, fungi, and mycobacterium. We have hand sanitizers available for all customers, spaced out dining areas, and open air flow.
To ensure that our staff remains healthy we are taking the following precautions;
We are checking the temperature of all staff members before they come in to work. If any team members displays ANY signs of sickness, they must stay home.
All team members must wear gloves, cover their mouth and nose, and wash their hands every 30 minutes while working. We are providing gloves and masks for all team members.
Only 4 team members will be working at any one time inside Pingala Cafe.
Physical contact (hugs, fist bumps, high fives etc.) is banned until further notice.
As many others are, we are making choices on a today and tomorrow basis. If we receive notice from the State and/or Federal Government, OR, our food purveyors, we will move forward accordingly.
The health and safety of our team members, customers, and community are at the core of what we do. We aim to provide comfort, nourishment and satisfaction to all those that choose to visit Pingala. It is our mission for everyone to leave Pingala happier than they arrived, and that still rings true in these tumultuous times.
